The case files are almost ready.
Over the past months, Cörk Børd has been taking shape in the shadows. It has been playtested, refined, and pushed toward something lean, bleak, and ready for the table. Now, we’re on the cusp of putting it in your hands.
Very soon, backers will receive the ready-to-play Beta release of Cörk Børd, alongside two fully realised investigations: Beneath Gotland’s Skin — a slow-burn descent into cult influence, isolation, and the quiet surrender of a missing girl, and Devil’s Tomb — a grim industrial relic, a missing arm, and something buried that should never have been left to rot.
These aren’t previews. They are complete, table-ready experiences, designed to be played, stressed, and broken open by your group.
What You’re Getting
The Beta isn’t a fragment or a teaser. This is a plain version of the current working game, before the layout kicks in. Inside, you’ll find a core investigative system that has been built on Mörk Borg principles and mechanics, rules for Baggage, Stability, and investigative pressure, a bunch of Specialisms that shape ready-to-play investigators, guidance around the business of character-driven procedurals, and a scattering of tables, flows and useful tools.
This is the game in its natural habitat: messy, tense, and very human.
Why a Beta?
Because Cörk Børd isn’t about perfection, why should the first release be any different? The Beta release is your opportunity to put the system through some real table play (outside the writer’s hands), test the tone and investigative flow, and invite feedback to inform the final release.
Every scene you run, every Baggage check that spirals out of control, helps sharpen what comes next.

Join the Investigation
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, there’s still a way in. Late pledges are open, and the game is currently available at a significantly reduced cover price.
This is your chance to secure the Beta, the investigations, and everything that follows before the full release lands.
